Ireland is the most beautiful part of the “British” Isles (why do they use that term?  Ireland is Ireland and Britain is Britain – we shouldn’t try to claim ownership of other lands, no matter how tentative the claim may be.  Wouldn’t it be just as legitimate to call them the Irish Isles?)  Leicestershire is, however, the second most beautiful part of these rocks in the Atlantic – it’s just a shame that the county has to put up with the less than beautiful ME.)  Holly XXX
