I agree, the first step is to contact the resort and ask. I suspect most are open and accepting because that is the whole point of an adults-only resort. As long as you stay on the property going alone should not be a big issue…again, that is the whole point of these places. Going off property is a bit of an issue depending on where you are and needs to be assessed in real-time there. There are plenty of places that are CD-friendly, but many cultures that aren’t. If unsure, I would research how LGBT-friendly the local is. A place such as Palm Springs would be fine, but others places less so.
