I misread the subject line and read it as doo doo as in, well you know, poop…..instead of what I think you were referring to which is a dodo bird.
Thinking of pantyhose in the conjunction with my first thought struck me as terribly silly and I didn’t figure things out until I read your actual post.
And yes, I remember those days fondly as well. Now you are lucky to find a small rack of some hose in Walmart/Target and forget about it in drug/grocery stores. Which, when I think about it, makes my first thought actually appropriate in that it is kinda sh*tty that you can’t go have a fine afternoon just browsing the hosiery section at your favorite department store.
