Kay, for me it’s wondering how “permanent” some of my makeup is. It seems that more and more cosmetics companies are trying to market their various products as long lasting or long wearing. This particularly applies to mascara, eyeliner and lipstick. So when I’m removing my makeup I’m always anxious about whether or not I’m going to leave any tell-tale traces. I had one lipstick that I discovered stained my lips bright red. It took me forever to get rid of any lasting colour.

So now if I’m buying makeup and the store assistant says “and this one is really longlasting” I just tell them that it’s not what I need and I want to be able to remove it easily.
