Hi rock chicks…
I’m sitting here watching Deep purple – perfect strangers…the concert from Melbourne in 1984.
Their best line up of many…
Glover, Lord, Paice, Gilan….and the legendary axeman….
Blackmore….surely a god if playing a guitar counts.
Plus the brilliant Rainbow….and then Blackmore’s night….if you have not heard Blackmores night……his wife Candice Nights vocals….and her ” look “…dressing as her would be an honour…..Stevie Nicks on steroids…ha ha…you have so much to look forward to…they have a dozen or so albums to explore….folk rock with Ritchie’s guitar and they do amazing Rainbow civers…..magical…..it’s SO much worth a look..or listen.

Oh yeah sweetie, now we are talking music. One of my top bands, that was a amazing concert from Melbourne. You certainly have taste our Grace.
Stormbringer was one of favorites albums. But all there material was brilliant.

If my failing memory serves me somewhere in my collection I have a cassette recording of The Sweet (Barroom Blitz) live at Santa Monica Civic with Richie making a guest appearance playing guitar on a couple of songs.

Grace, you must be the “Rock Goddess”!! Ritchie & Deep Purple are Legendary! So Lucky to have seen them a few times.. I think they are why Purple is My Favorite Color!! Ritchie also Helped bring us another Legend… Ronnie James Dio!!💜💜💜

really liked that band matter fact before they were well known he played at my high school for some type of charity auction. Long time ago.
