Halloween ‘23
CDH is having a blowout Halloween Photo contest!
This will be a judged contest. Judges will be staff members appointed by the Managers’ Council. Judges will remain anonymous during and after the contest.
All members of CDH are invited to submit photos
There will be multiple categories, with the following prizes:
1. Grand Halloween:
a. Any picture appropriate for the site, preferably in a costume.
b. Prizes:
i. Grand Champion, one free year Princess subscription
ii. Runner Up, one free year Duchess subscription
2. Sub categories:
a. Superheroes
b. Fantasy or historical costume
c. Housewife
d. Mani-pedi (fingers, toes, or both)
e. Prizes:
i. One free 3 month duchess subscription for each category
3. Group photo
a. No prize, bragging rights only
4. Staff members
a. There are no prizes for staff members, but since we want to submit our pictures in our finery, too, there will be a bragging rights contest for us, too
5. Halloweens past
a. No prize, bragging rights only
Rules:
1. Other than group photos, each submittal must be of a single member.
2. Photos to be taken and submitted now through Sunday November 5, 2022 (so no going back and pulling out that zinger from 2019 except for the Halloweens past category)
3. Digital manipulation of photos:
a. The only digital manipulation allowed is lighting/color correction applied to the entire photo (no spot correction) and cropping of the photo.
4. Entries must meet all of the normal picture approval rules of CDH, including no lingerie, lewd or vulgar imagery or gestures, etc
5. Pictures submitted must be of you, and not taken from any trademarked or copyrighted place.

Any and all submissions may be used by CDH for advertising, promotions, etc,

I know that for you ladies on the wrong side of the pond, Halloween is a very different thing than what it should be: do I need to wear something ridicuously”Gothic” or would it be O.K. to just try to emulate my heroine (oh, come on – look at my name and the “Witch” element!) and (fail) to look a little like her? By the way – I know it’s been done before, but the three hottest witches ever on the television? (Sure you have an idea on them… are we all agreed on who they are?) I’ve never yet tried to compete – and never could: anyroadup: I’ll try to put up a picture – and will (undoubtedly) fail – really looking forward to this challenge! Holly XXX

Actually, Samantha Stevens, Willow Rosenburg and… Piper Halliwell. (I would have had them in the reverse order, but I can’t really argue too much…) I also couldn’t try to match any of those ladies you mentioned – ain’t it strange that so many witches on the television are so, so hot!!! hhhhhhmmm… does Barbie go in the “housewife” section? I guess it depends on the Barbie outfit…
though I’m a Nuc, I will NOT be wearing something befitting of Oppenheimer…

Hi girls,
I am very happy to know that this year there will be a Halloween costume contest again and I am very excited about the idea. I remember that last year was a great success since we all had fun preparing our costumes, taking photos and choosing the best one for the contest and I hope this year is even better, I have already selected my costume for this year and I am already looking forward to putting it on and having an exciting photo session with him haha. As the current champion I want to wish you all the best of luck and enjoy this exciting experience to the fullest!

I wasn’t a member last year for the Halloween 2022 contest, so I’m not sure how this works. Do we submit a photo using the normal procedures, and indicate that the category is “Halloween”? Or is there some special procedure for submitting a photo specifically for this contest?
