afternoon shopping trip …

A couple of days ago I had the afternoon to myself.

I had dropped off the SO to visit her friend and got home by lunchtime.

Once home I changed into a skirt and top, popped my slippers on for a short rest while I decided what to do. The weather being cool and changeable with some rain showers – easy option go out shopping 🙂

Got changed to go out – settled on a pair of navy trousers, red top, lightweight anorak, cross slung handbag, along with some navy flats.

Out to the car and off to a nearby town. On arrival headed off round the charity shops, quite a few things in my size – sadly either in the wrong colour or not the right style for me . Before leaving to drive back home I got some cash out from an ATM and popped into a shop for a couple of snack bars. On the way back home I stopped at a craft store to pick up some hobby supplies.

Once I got home I put on a skirt, sorted through the post and then sat down for for a light snack and rest. Then it was time to change back to ‘man mode’ and go out to pickup the SO.

Overall I had a nice afternoon, shame I didn’t find any clothes suitable for me; there’s always next time 🙂

Sometimes you don’t find a thing when out shopping.  On other trips there will be an armload waiting.  Glad you enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.
