      Hi everyone!

I’ve been a crossdresser since I was a kid, and as all of you girls know it has ups and downs. At this point of my life (I’ll turn 50 this year) I love to be as I am, unfortunately there are two things I really look forward to: Improve my female image (I don’t know how to make up, I don’t even have a wig!) and make friends to share stories, experiences, tips, a shoulder, anything. I hope I can get that through this site.

Hello Alicia welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are and found us and made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. I am happy you have made the step to be here. Welcome!

      Hugs April

      Hi Alice

      Welcome to the site.

Hope you have fun exploring the site, and stick around.

You say you do not own a wig, is that your own hair in your profile pic? I’m very jealous if it is.

Me too. I have no knowledge of wigs, wearing or even styling. I don’t even know where I would start.

Hi Rozalyn! Thank you for your reply. I feel so happy with the warm welcome I’ve had in the group.

You know, I love British culture, particularly the music, the humor, and the beer. I’ve been a couple of times in London, as a matter of fact. I want to go back with my wife!

I hope you’re right and I can find sisters here in Mexico 😉

Hola Alice y bienvenidos a CDH.  For what it’s worth I used to live in DF by El Hospital Española y el mall de Oro. I truly enjoyed my time there.  I know you will enjoy your time here at CDH.  I have never felt more comfortable and accepted as I do here with all these kind ladies.  So welcome and enjoy your time.

Si quieres charlar en español lo puedes conmigo cuando quieras.

        Hola Susan

I live in the south of the city. Quite far from where you lived, but the headquarters of my work are near there. Mexico City is a blend of chaos and beauty for sure. I like living here despite the problems we have.

I know what you mean about the girls here. Everybody has been so kind and warm. You girls almost make me cry of happiness, thank you.

      Hello Alice
Welcome to CDH, a large and welcoming family. It’s a pleasure to meet you here.
Here you will be able to exchange opinions and information and find support to go forward in your enfemme adventure.
Have fun participating in the forums, polls and questionnaires.
Here no one is judged, but always welcomed with a warm embrace.

I’m Greta, a 56-year-old CD/TG person (I’m taking my first steps in HRT); with a life a little complicated by having to hide my gender identity for too long ….. when I’m alone at home and I know I have no guests I’m Greta, if I’m at work or I have guests at home I’m Greta dressed in unisex clothing outwardly like Mr. Antonio but wearing my women’s underwear of course.

        Hi Greta

I’m happy to see you’re taking the right steps to be who you are, congratulations!

In my case, I don’t really want to transition I think…) What would like is to be able to get Alice out more often and more freely, you know. I don’t know if I’ll ever do it. There’s still much fear.

Hi Alice, welcome to CDH. So many of us feel the same way as you do. You might want to take look at the “Member Directory”, under the “Social” tab above. It might help you to find others in your area.  This really is a wonderful place to be and share thoughts and feelings with others who understand. Hope you find many good friends here.

I am about to find out what it’s like to be a CD in Mexico. I’m planning to take a group tour out of El Paso TX. Will go by Bus to Creel than spend a day riding the train thru the Copper Canyon down to El Fuente. I have no idea what it will be like crossing the border dressed with a male passport. I’ve been told it’s no problem, either direction. What do you think ?

      • #708853

Hi Roberta, thanks for the heads up. I see now there are many Mexican girls around.

About your group tour, I think you wouldn’t have any problem at all to cross, perhaps just some curious people staring but that’s all. Now, I admire what you do and how free you are!. The farthest I have gone dressed as a woman is the roof and the garage of my apartment building, lol. I hope I can get farther, just like you.

My best advice is just do it and don’t second guess yourself. Loos your anxiety and just act like you belong wherever you are.   You don’t have to be perfect just let your feminine side out. Everyone else will just act according, to your own attitude about yourself.
