I look at pictures and sometimes post ,love reading the stories of how others deal with day to day dressing and life. Myself and my SO also envey the freedom in other countries to go out for nights or acceptance in public and we’re wondering how many Irish girls and their SO go out and where in Ireland .

      Hi Jenny,

It is a challenge here in Ireland, isn’t it? – still rather conservative in many ways and it’s a small place, so very easy to meet someone you know.
I have been out (on my own – there is no SO) but in relatively quiet places for walks.  I haven’t ventured into any seriously built up areas.  Yet – never say never!  But not for now, I’m not so concerned about reaction to me, more so my children; they don’t know and it will stay that way while still at school.

I have been out in the UK, but not in places where there’s any risk of bumping into someone I know.  There are more CD groups/meetings over there – I have yet to find anything similar here.  A shame as I suspect there are many more than just us…!
