Bralette vs breastforms & bra.

Good morning ladies,

Not sure if just me but as of late I’m finding I enjoy wearing just a bralette over using my forms and a bra. In the early days I always put my forms on when dressing.  Yes I wear an bralette almost everyday be it under my male clothes or while wearing my women’s clothes. You all know the feeling you get when wearing a bra or bralette and I just realized the other day that I prefer the feeling of the bralette against my natural chest over wearing my forms and a bra.
Anyone else experience this ?

I enjoy my bralettes too.   The bralettes I have are lacy and strappy which I find to be totally cute.   The work perfectly with my moobs.  When wearing them with forms, I just find that they don’t provide the kind of support that I need.   I will say that I don’t currently attach my forms using adhesive so that might be the problem.

Well I use different bras for my forms that keep things in place and bralettes without.

Great question and maybe it’s an Ashley thing 😉 as I love my bralettes, too, and for exactly the same reason of snug feeling against my chest and the little lift and shape it provides my otherwise flat chest.  It’s also less noticeable under my robe yet give me that lovely “hug” I find so affirming.  My favorite is a bright pink lacy number with a little bit of padding and a flattering neckline that looks very feminine on me.  With the right choker necklace, I love catching myself in the mirror.  Maybe my wife will give me some more 😉

As Ashley’s think alike then. Lol. And yes less likely to be noticed as I wear one almost everyday no matter what I’m wearing. At times I’ll be a little daring and have to show through my top I’m wearing while out and about.   Thanks for the reply hun.

I find my bralettes don’t hold my forms as well as my other bras.  But still enjoy both as you say.

I’ve embraced bralettes this year.
They make a really nice change from a bra and forms.
I often get out in a 50:50 outfit which is 100% femme, but I’m not trying to present as Lucy, and these go great with that.
Both of mine are lacy though, so I don’t wear them out with just a t-shirt or tight top.

Yes I think they are great and was a perfect choice as it was panties everyday for 2 years so why not add the bralette in.  Lol.

I agree Ashley, just bought my first Bralette and I love wearing it under my male clothing. I do love my breast forms and bra. I love the feeling when I am wearing them. But the bralette does give me a feminine feeling that I love so much.

I don’t do forms so I only buy A cup bras and yes I have quite a few bralettes

I love them they feel really cool and my AA boobies have a slight bulge in them. Working on slightly bigger boobs though but not bigger than an A 😉

For me, it’s bra & forms only. I love the feeling of the forms weight pulling on the bra straps and the look the projection of the forms give to my clothing. I’ll often wear them all day, sleep in them at night and wear them all the following day. I hate to take them off because they make me feel so femme.

I now have a drawer full of bralettes and so many different colors and filled with pads or forms that make my dresses in particular look very feminine with the size of the breast form or projection. I’ve given away to the Goodwill store and all the bras that I had that snap or locked in the back and it’s so much easier with the bralettes and they’re prettier as well in my view. I am now so used to wearing bras, that I forget I have one on the other night I went to bed in one under my t-shirt but took off my skirt took off my panties and just went to bed that way woke up in the morning and had to smile at myself with the Comfort level that has occurred wearing bras.

I enjoy wearing my bralettes as my moobs (A cup) fill them out and the look is natural. I also wear bras with homemade forms to help fill out dresses and blouses. It all depends on what I’m wearing as to which I use.

I do love both my bras and bralettes. I typically wear a bralette and camisole daily as they cannot be detected like most bras can be.  I do prefer wearing a bra w/forms when fully dressing up

Well it’s normally a lighter thinner type of bra. Most of the ones I use are called triangle bralette. I’m sure google would show you better then my description.  Lol

I don’t own any forms, so I don’t know that feeling. I do however, own more bralettes than bras. I sometimes prefer bralettes since they’re not too constrictive. I have asthma so anything too tight around my chest can be a slight issue which has led to more and longer breaks recently. However, sometimes I say to heck with it and wear a bra so I can feel the silky material on my body

I have 10 lace bralettes and 12 underwire bras.  I have a pair of DD triangle forms, a pair of DD teardrop forms, and a pair of F teardrop forms.  I always wear the teardrop forms with bras and the triangle forms with bralettes.  The simple reason is the DD teardrop forms are significantly heavier than the triangle forms and will slip out the bottom of the bralettes.  Tomorrow, I have an eye appointment about 90 minutes from home.  I will wear a bralette and the DD triangle forms driving there.  I will remove the forms before I go into the office.  When I leave, the forms will go back in place for the drive home.
