Hello again sisters,
I know that most CDs like to dress in something sexy like a slender dress or skirt and top/blouse. I personally prefer to wear more casual clothing, i guess you could say that I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. I like to wear jeans with a cami or regular t-shirt, cute pair of leggings with the same cami or t-shirt. I also like to wear shorts, but nothing to skimpy, short yes but nothing that would double as underwear, if you know what I mean. I have a couple of pairs that fit quite well. I have quite a few cami shirts, I also like tank tops they go well with my leggings and shorts. When it comes to jeans I have come to like skinny jeans, they give that slender sexy feeling, I also have some snug fitting flair jeans, although some have larger flairs than I like but the upper part of the leg fits really well. I am not saying that I am against dresses or skirts, just not my cup of tea. I welcome any comments.

Heather, I too prefer the casual look for everyday. It’s much more practical and functional especially if you’re running around, getting in and out of the car. Besides I’ve been told I have nice legs and a cute bum so what better to show them off than a pair if tight jeans and nicely heeled boots. I love fashion boots by the way. I do like a pretty skirt or dress if I’m going out for the evening though.

I got to admit I love super skinny jeans with rips in them and fishnet tight under them some lush boots and a loose top but if I’m going out its a dress or skirt for me I what to be as feminine as possible and it definitely high heels with stockings or tights.

While I wear dresses and skirts most often I love the casual look also. I have skinny jeans, regular jeans, shorts or Capri’s and many tops/tee’s to go with these.
You can still have a very sexy look in casual clothing. A lot has to do with your Presence and of course coordinating whatever you are wearing.

My former job took me all over the western United States and I spent over 150 nights a year in hotels. Working ten to twelve hour shifts meant I was usually too tired for dressing up completely. In my hotel room I would usually wear an a-line skirt, knit top, lingerie and sandals or heels. Makeup was minimal in case the fire alarm went off and I had to change quickly.
If I decided to go out to eat I would exchange my skirt for high rise straight leg jeans and add a flannel or down vest. I always wore Dansko clogs when I was working, so footwear was never a problem. No one ever raised an eyebrow at a restaurant.
Now that I am retired I cannot dress very often. My dresses and skirts are carefully put away for ‘someday’. I still wear my Danskos daily and if the weather is right I might also wear tights or hose. Flannels and vests still partially conceal my knit tops or feminine t-shirts. No one knows if I am wearing a bra and panties or a little lip gloss and mascara. I do miss my sandals though.
Living in the mountains in a forest does have advantages, but I miss those long drives between projects and running to the hotel ice machine late at night in a skirt and heels.
