as a newcomer, i was wondering what members titles, duchess, baroness etc  mean

Hi, I think I can answer that for you.

Those titles are for subscribing members, there are ‘tiers’ of membership. Each ‘level’ will give you more exposure, i.e. expand your photo collection and access deeper areas of the site unavailable to ‘basic’ members, things like that.
