Hi ladies!
One of the great joys of being a member of the CDH community is getting to know new sisters. It’s so interesting learning about everyone’s story and how they came to be a crossdresser. And of course, if they post pictures of themselves that makes it even easier to get to know them, as we can see what they look like.
Personally, I love looking at pictures of other crossdressers, whether it’s here on CDH or some of the other CD forums (that aren’t pornographic), because those pictures let me see other fashions and styles that I might not have thought about wearing. I might see cute shoes and boots that I want to buy, or I may see different hair styles I might like to try. I also may get ideas about new ways to apply my makeup, different types of jewelry to wear, different ways to accessorize an outfit, and much, much more.
So of course, that got me to wondering…
Do you like looking at pictures of other crossdressers?

Most certainly, cos as Michelle says, (inter alia) we can all learn and admire the wonderful other ladies here on CDH. I also read (almost) every article that comes up on this great site. See how “the other half lives”
Which given, I’m “down here” in Oz and most of the members are from the northern hemisphere, I guess means “the other half of the planet”

I like looking at other CD girls to see how they present themselves and the best part of it is the smile on their faces. Some have it together so perfectly if you didn’t know then you would find it hard to believe a male was in those pretty clothes. Others get high marks for bravery and looking so nice and confident in their persona it shines through. All are beautiful girls inside and out. The sisterhood lives!

I do enjoy looking at pictures of crossdressers as it gives me ideas as to fashion ideas, use of make up, hair styles, jewelry and how to present oneself in a feminine was (sitting, standing, lounging, etc). It is also nice to see that there are a wide range of ladies from those that you would never suspect are males to those that are like me and have a difficult time blending in. Thank you to those that take and share their pictures, I am not brave enough to do that yet – hopefully in the future I will be able to.

SuzanneI also like to look at other CD pics. It is a rather nice reflection on what the feminine persona used to be. It seems most older cis girls these days don’t bother with make up and often are dressed rather frumpy. Where as most CD pics show the time and effort that goes with looking our best. I don’t know that I am correct in this but it just my opinion.

Hi Holly. I voted “ of course I do”, because it is just what makes me happy. To see so many on CDH who are so beautiful, sometimes makes me feel like I shouldn’t bother, but then you get such nice comments from all of the kind sisters here. I am so happy to be able to be a small part of this group even if most of the ladies here are way better looking than me. But I’ll keep on trying, and maybe just maybe somebody will look at me like we all do and think to themselves, “I’d like to be able to look as good as her”
I like to look at other cross dressers for all of the reasons stated here. Plus I see courageous people being true to themselves. That is reason enough to look. But I also like to look at GGs for style, fashion on honestly, a little bit of envy because they have naturally what takes me more effort to get to each day(or attempt to for that matter). And when your think of it GGs have historically checked out other GGs “can you believe what she is wearing?!!” Or the random “that is a really nice blouse” compliment. It only makes sense that I (we) would do the same.
Yes. A year or so ago I was completely lost and just about ready to admit defeat. Most dresses especially those with a defined waistline simply will not fit me due to my height and look terrible. A member here posted a picture of herself dressed in a nice pair of jeans with an adorable pink sweater and a pair of boots. I saw a light and said to myself, let’s do that. I also found I can wear skirts and leggings and now have a look I’m at peace with.
Photos of GGs and CDs are inspiring for dressing. The only problem is that you don’t see CD photos randomly or naturally, you willingly know you’re in a place you’ll see them.
Examples, pick up any magazine, scroll through it, and you usually won’t see a CD. Same for looking at store ads online.
But the other day, I was online shopping for something random and up came upon a product review with a profile pic of a guy wearing tights and a slip hugging an obvious GG. I had so many questions because that pic came up normally, not in anything CD related.
Hi, Holly. I voted ‘sometimes’ but I’d say it’s on the high side of sometimes, but not always. I like seeing others here like those that I have friended or accepted friend as well as those who post a fair amount especially those that post where I’m posting. It’s nice to see who one is sharing experiences with. I know it’s been said that everyone is their own worst critic especially when it comes to dressing or looks, but in day to day living and being out and about, I’ve seldom if ever seen anyone who I haven’t found attractive or interesting in some way. When I’m walking down a street, at a large gathering, etc. I pretty much notice everyone I happen to see, what they look like, what they’re wearing, how they hold themselves, that sort of thing. It’s no different for me here. I’ve posted photos of me both open and restricted to members (or however that works), and I appreciate when others do similar. But if someone decides they don’t feel comfortable with that, that’s fine with me.
