Eating with lipstick

Dear CIS Woman, is it possible to eat food without messing up you lipstick and keep your food from tasting like it? Or do I have to re-apply after a meal?

Apparently there is an art to eating without smudging lipstick – I hardly ever wear lipstick but it never stays on either!

Seriously though, you can get lipstick stay products which you paint on after applying the lipstick and they are meant to keep it in place longer (sort of like applying a clear nail polish on top of a colour).  Usually to be found near the lipstick shelves in supermarkets / stores.
