Eyebrows

What is the best way to glue down and cover eyebrows? I hate mine! Too low and thick. They make me look like a boy.I’ve had them glued down and covered by professional makeup artists but it would be nice to `be able to do it myself.

I saw a vid on youtube using a glue stick.  Maybe you can find that. 🙂

Glue stick trick works, but its easy just to go have them waxed to a nice uni-sexual shape. Then just use brow liner to finish your sexy look!

Why not work towards a more androgenous look for you brow bushes.

Start with a trim. I use a sturdy mascara wand to brush them straight up and I trim them with good haircutting shears to a uniform length. A little hair conditioner  on the same brush to smoothe them. Get brave and pluck as well. A gradual approach, doing a little more every day will ease back the forest.

People will ask, but only because it looks better. If people make a point say that your hairstylist recommended it and ask if it’s too much?

I use a combination of clear mascara to flatten them down, then a concealer close to my natural skin tone. Give each about 3 coats, then a last coat of the foundation I use for the rest of my face. Then I draw a “femme” brow with eyeliner pencil over it all. I was shown this method my a professional Make up Artist

A little trim and pluck here and there helps too!

hat is amazing advice Caty. I will definitely have to try that. My wife does a great job of keeping my brows more feminine looking. But, I have never penciled them on.
