eyelash extensions: hated them

I had dreamed of eyelash extensions for a long, long time. Last Friday I took advantage of a deal on Kijiji and got a lovely set of extensions. They were well done and looked beautiful. The pink fog of them lasted until Saturday morning when I saw the litter of a dozen or so lashes on my pillow and realized that as beautiful as they were they actually limited my options as far as eye makeup. You have to be careful of which liner you use, what you wash with them. They are actually a pain in the eye. Plus they really didn’t look better than a good dose of mascara and the effect was actually less than my strip lashes. So off they went.

Since I was blessed with long eyelashes I’ve never needed extensions. My wife always tells me it not fair that I have such long eyelashes. A little mascara is all I ever need.

I’m so jealous of you ladies with lush eyelashes.  Mine are practically nonexistent and I have to use fake eyelashes which never look quite right.  I have considered getting eyelash extensions.  Have any of you ladies tried them?
