So, today my wife said to me that we’d gone out for lunch, gone and done some shopping, then we’d gone out to dinner with me dressed. Then she asked me what else I had on my bucket list as she put it. I’ve been in such a fog since Friday night I couldn’t think immediately.

So I ask y’all, what’s on your Femme bucket list? What have you not yet done that you want to do? I know for some it’s as simple as going out, and yet as complicated as going out.

      What do you all say?

Hi Bridgette And yes the ultimate is to go out and be me but as covid has put a stop to all fun hoping to make it happen in 2022 as Keystone hope hope will be open .. My wife and I will attend as long as it will happen my first step out as Stephanie  as we live in a very close community and going out is not an option so as our hopes for this dream to come true will be a step in the girly direction as Miss Stephanie Flowers has a big part in this and her friendship to take my hand and lead me into the Keystone group im so tickled as my wife and I go there and have some girly fun ..

      Good question….

At this moment in time, grace is living her dream, but she did have a couple of things she really needed….she really wanted/ needed to talk to other girls just like her…and the handle came off her bucket……

She found CDH and so many lovely friends…. and she got a new bucket on Saturday….her life is complete!!!

      Smiles, grace xx

For me it would be going to a formal event.  A chance to get fully glammed up and wear those beatiful gowns.

I have my bucket list. And I crossed several items off last year. Including on the Beach in a Bathing Suit.  A casino. Bars and restaurants. And getting my ears pierced. The thing is, every time I check a box, I add something else!  Whats a Girl to do?   Hugs Pru

Prudence, I just done this on August 2020 wearing a two piece hot pink bikini. I tried to post a photo of it. I guess it don’t meet CD Heaven requirements. Ahhhh it happens, no skin off my back. Maybe next time

The 2 major ones I have left would be to get a full makeover at least once just to say I have had the experience.

And I would like to head out for a night out at least once also.

That’s pretty much it for me.

I’d love to get a makeover. I think I’ll add that to my list, but can’t do that here until the numbers are better. None of the places do it now.

    • #437741

Though I am relativelly confident with donning make up, i would love to stop by some store and have a professional make up make-over, and treat myself to a new long styled brown wig, some satin underwear and a retro halter circle full dress, ideally polyester as that feels so nice as it simply glides across your knees.

I’ve spent several days as Alexis with my SO, out in the world, just a another woman in the crowd.  I would like to have my ears pierced, get a makeover and ‘fly pretty’.   I get/have gone out in public to many places, malls, stores, events, nite-clubs, doctor appointments, etc.  while en femme so my list is relatively small.  I see two of them attainable, one is simply making the appointment for the make-over and the other the opportunity/need to fly somewhere. The other is a little more recognizable as a male, so I’ll have to stick with un-pierced ears, at least for the time being.

      • #437759

        Hi Alexis

So many men have pierced ears that you shouldn’t wait any longer… unless COVID makes that item unattainable for the near future. Have a closer look next time you’re out and about? That is in an urban setting… think metrosexual.

Just a little flick and you’re done… Polly xx

      • #437794

I agree with Polly. I had my ears pierced late last year in drab. The girl at Claire’s didn’t bat an eye, just did it. Some of the guys at work have or used to have them. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Amazon sells home kits too, just make sure you use gold or surgical steel. Anything less you could develope a problem.

Hi my bucket list is as long as my arm has I’ve not done any of the things i would love to do,

The main thing on my bucket list is to get a professional makeover with a professional photographer taking pictures of me as Roz x

The next one is going to a venue near me and spending a whole weekend dressed as Rozalyne from Friday to Sunday night,

If this lock down lasts any longer it might not be possible till 2023 they keep extending it more and more,

      Hugs Rozalyne x

      • #437796

Photographer! That would be cool! It would mean more interaction too, you’d really be putting yourself out there. I think if have to go with a photographer I don’t know though, as the ones I do know I don’t think I’d be comfortable coming out to.

Hi Bridgette there’s a place near to where i live called Transformation they do 4 hour makeovers, they do your hair and makeup and your nails too, a complete makeover from head to foot and make you look like the woman who you wish to be,

Then they have a professional photographer taking pictures for you to keep as a reminder of your day as the woman you would love to be,

          Hugs Rozalyne x

    • #437760

I would love to get dressed with makeup and go out someday ❤️

    • #437767

      Ahh… the bucket list…

Discounting the non gender list and focusing on the ‘feminine’ one, I’d say for me it would be to move to another place/country and start living full time as a woman (transgender, of course). Far enough away from family and friends that I haven’t informed so as not to cause offense!
Secondly, I would love to get my very own boobs! Oh, yesss… just to have a ‘natural’ weight and feel… ohh, wonderful!
The rest is of a lesser nature but I do like the idea of a pro photo shoot as Rozalyne wants.

Best of the best for all your dreams, Sisters xxx Polly

      My list is quite small, since I’m free to do almost as I please. Knowing my age and health limitations, I have only 3 items: Attend a Desert Crossroads or Southern Comfort gathering;
      Get a pair of the best forms on the market;
Live en femme for an entire week, uninterrupted.

#1 is out of my control, and at least a year away; #2 wiil be done this year; and the “uninterrupted” stipulation makes the last one a bit iffy, but a girl’s gotta try.

Great subject. Who hasn’t fantasized about a bucket list. Professional makeup and dress fitting without judgment. All leading up to a formal black tie affair. Maybe it’s a little like Cinderella but who doesn’t want to feel like a princess once in a while.

    • #437806

So my wife said to me that she thinks I need to go for a professional bra fitting, so she’s going to take me to torrid since time soon for a fitting. Going to have to get out the mower and clear away the last of the weeds I guess. Not gonna happen this week, as we’re way too hectic. So things I’ve gotten from y’all, a makeover (has to wait for after covid), a photoshoot, a bra fitting. Those are all real up close and personal, and you’re really out there at that point, but not necessarily to anyone you know. Of those, I think the bra fitting is going to happen first.

      Keep these ideas coming, girls!

      Bridgette vS

    • #437826

I have so many. One would be to spend the day on the water, be it the ocean, river or lake in a bikini. Another would be to be able to go to work as Mindy without being judged. A big one is to meet and befriend other cross dressers in my area to socialize with. Another one would to go on a weeks vacation somewhere where I can be Mindy the entire week.

    • #437834

Getting a makeover would be great. Topping my list is just wanting to spend a weekend with my SO dressed enfeminem. A night at the theater when we have them again. So many things on the my list. Since the covid, just being able to spend the night out with friends, so missing that.

    • #437837

Would like to have a professional photographer take pictures of me, go out to a nightclub (when COVID is over) en femme.  But most of all, I want to be in dresses and heels 24/7.

I’ve been lucky enough to do almost everything on my list. Formal CD events, makeovers with photo shoots, (amateur, but came up very well. See my profile for proof..) Going out to dinner and shopping as Caty has been and will always be wonderful fun. Dont need any more clothes, so thats covered…

      The last three are..

1/. Get rid of the body hair on my legs and arms, (happening soon!!)

2/. Have a bra fitting as Caty. (had one lined up two whole years ago, but covid and shortness of time at the time fixed that).

3/. Have a “girls weekend away” with my dear friend Dani whom I met here on CDH. Destination.. Daylesford a LGBTI friendly town about 2hrs nw of Melbourne

Get Covid out of the way and “lets get out there”.

I have an extensive femme bucket list, sadly I don’t know if I will ever be able to knock off anymore off the list but one can hope !

      – dress up for halloween.  I was able to cross this off my list last year.

      – go out dressed en femme.  I’ve done this a few times, only while driving though.

      – try on clothes in a store.

      – using professional services to transform into Wendy.

      – go on vacation as Wendy thru out the whole trip.  I would even settle on a full day as Wendy too.

      – go to work as Wendy.  Don’t know if this counts, but since working from home, I was able to dress up fully and work.

I like dressing on some of my work from home days also. Too much to do today and tomorrow, but maybe later in the week I’ll have the chance.

I want to renew my wedding vows has gender reversed. But I don’t think that one would never happen, endless its super stupid same wedding. (It not at all CD/Trans friendly here)

Here is another one. I want to go to a dress shop, shop for dresses, have a fitting, and have alterations.

I wish I had more for you, but I already wear 24/7 and done most just from living life.

Some of these are easily attainable while other are a real stretch

      • have the courage to FULLY accept myself for who I am and to do any of the items on my list(s)
      • spend a day in my house and around my SO fully dressed
      • go outside the confines of my house fully dressed and maybe go shopping
      • tell a female friend
      • pierce ears
      • spend a day at the beach in a bathing suit
      • shop for and wear a wedding dress
      • attend a formal event/gala/party dressed in a little black dress
      • go to a CD function with my SO to let her see first hand that we are really nice and misunderstood people

    • #438482

      – Grocery shop for the week

      – vacation for a weekend or week as nancy fully

      – go to the theatre (movies and plays)

      – go to a concert

    • #438493
      Anonymous

Since I’m struggling with achieving that “perfect look,” a makeover is #1. Leaving the closet goes hand-in-hand with that. Telling a female friend is also near the top.

Some of my others involve intimacy, which is probably best not discussed in a public forum as I’m still a new girl and not wanting to test the boundaries of this forum (for which I’m very thankful to be a part of).

    • #438530

I’ve done quite a few, but still have quite a list:

      • Go out with my wife fully dressed, I’ve done this with a past girlfriend quite a bit and loved it.
      • Go for a bra fitting, I have one scheduled this week so I’m looking forward to that.
      • Go out to dinner with my wife fully dressed and out to a few clubs.  Again something I have done with a past girlfriend.
      • Go to the beach in a thong or g-string bikini bottom.
      • Go shopping in downtown Denver fully dressed, and also go to a few bars by myself.
      • Have a Boudoir photo shoot in some of my favorite lingerie and intimates.
      • Travel someplace with my wife for a long weekend, or an entire week and have nothing but women’s outfits picked out and spend the entire time dressed.  This is actually something I have done with a past girlfriend, she secretly swapped out all my drab clothing for outfits she had picked out.  She did my makeup each morning and it was a very fun 3 day weekend.
      • Go shopping with my wife for lingerie that we each pick out for each other, then dress up in it for a fun night at home.
      • Dress up in a nice pair of stockings, garter a thong teddy, a nice sexy skirt and blouse and go out with my wife, and when we get home have her peg me.  Again, something I have done with a previous girlfriend, but would love to experience with my wife.

I know there are quite a few more that I can’t think of right now, so I’ll probably edit/update as I think of more.

[Edit 1/29/2021] – I did think of a few more that I’d love to do!

    • #438663

      1.  Live as a woman – check

      2. Go everywhere as a woman – check

      3. Go shopping as a woman – check

      4. Be intimate with a man as a woman – check

      5. Get a manicure – check

      6. Have name legally changed – check

      7. Have a professional makeover –

      8. Have a professional photo shoot –

      9. Get breast implants –

      10 Have reassignment surgery –

      Well 6 out of 10 isn’t bad.

I love going out. it’s so thrilling and exciting. But I have this fear that often stops me. If I could just rid myself of that fear or even some of it, that would be great.

Try to control the fear is always on my bucket list.

      • #449295

        Hiya Patty

Fear – comes from wrong thinking, and self questioning and also not accepting of yourself.

Rather than listening to views of society, listen to your inner voice telling you who and what you are.   Remember that by affirming who you are within, will project outwards to others around you of who you are.  There is no real term of Crossdresser, If for you wearing a dress feels more comfortable, than wearing male attire, and at the same time feels so natural and so right to you, then these clothes are for you and  therefore not inappropriate for you, therefore how can it be truly deemed that you are Crossdressing if these clothes feel so appropriate and address your feelings of who you truly are.

Positiveness and confidence comes from within first and once this has been achieved through additional self affirmations and self understanding of ones own feelings and listening to your inner thoughts, feelings and inner voice, you can then start projecting a huge aura of new found confidence about your person and meeting this world with a more prepared mind that harbours no fear about who you are.

This took me years to realise it, there is more to this, so i have condensed it in order for you to at least start making constructive steps to addressing any fears that you may have about being yourself out in the open world.

        Best Regards

        Melissa

Hi honey, society today is much more accepting of us, there’s nothing to fear except fear itself. Im dressed 80-90% of the time, in public and ar work too. I think I pass visually but I haven’t tried working on my voice yet. I know made  atleast 5 times every time I go out but I have not received one negative comment.

It would also be a crime go deny the world your legs. Hot dam they’re good.

There are a large number of things on my bucket list.  The top three items were posting public photos, going out in public and having another makeover.  I ticked the first one off last week!  The others will have to wait until the pandemic is over unfortunately.

      • #449351

        Hi Diane

I have posted photos but I would love to be brave enough to post a full body picture.  I need to go on a diet, be able to apply makeup and not care I could be recognised. So it will probably not be any time soon.

The pictures you posted looked fantastic.

Thanks for the lovely compliment Jen.

Until last week I was the same as you – I wanted to post a few public photos but was worried about somebody recognising me.  After a lot of deliberation I thought that firstly, it is unlikely that anybody would recognise me and secondly, even if they did, they would need to be a member of CDH or looking on the site to see the photos.  They would have some explaining to do themselves.  I was also concerned that the photos might not be good enough but I know how supportive everyone is here and realised that nobody would be critical.  So I took a deep breath and posted the photos.  I am glad I did – it is one thing less on my bucket list!

          If it appeals, do it!

Quite straight forward in comparison. Go out full en femme, order a drink at a bar, get mistaken for a GG and be flirted with (unsuccessfully of course 😂)

Sounds like a good night to me.

      • #449364

I ordinarily wear a femme wedding band (very bling) so the SO has that – finger – covered already.

When we go to the bar together she does get flirted with, so I do hope they’d be decent enough to extend me the same courtesy when I’m wearing the dress 😂

Wow, you all have listed a lot of the things on my BL already, but here are some that come to mind immediately (I’m going to steal a couple of your ideas)…

*Learn how to do makeup to actually look good

*Go out fully dressed (and acquire the courage/confidence required, of course)

*Go running, hiking, and kayaking en femme (I think I could pull this one off)

*Laser hair removal (almost everything below the neck)(professional waxing would be ok too)

*Get my ears pierced, tattoo (I’m seriously considering the ear piercing currently)

*2022 Keystone Conference (This could have been a reality this year, if it weren’t for Covid)

*Get a job/change careers as Birel (so no one there ever knew or saw my male side)

I could go on, but I’m pretty sure this list will keep me busy for a while. 🙂

      Hi Bridgette.

It is an interesting question and you have been getting some interesting answers.

There is something different to consider, for those who identify as a CD… As you check those items in your list, you may be adding some new items, which will make the first few ones in the list look simple or even silly… but at some point, you may run out of things to add to the list. Nothing bad about it, but if you get used to set up yourself goals as a way to add some sense of accomplishment other than just the content of doing things because you enjoy them, there can be some feeling of disenchantment coming your way…
I can tell you that I used to set myself some of those “goals”… until I ran out of things to do (while still being true to who I feel I am).

Now? I just try to enjoy life, no mountains to climb, just enjoying the view and smelling the roses.

Gen, never say never.  Just a year ago I thought I would never tell my family or go out in fem.  So far I’ve had 2 major outings and 2 or 3 smaller outings, most with a dress on.  I’ve also told 3 of my 4 brothers and 3 nieces.  Didn’t have to tell my 3 kids, my X did that.

I would love to get together with 2 to 4 other gals from CDH to have a coffee with and chat and go out shopping.  Then sometime the next 2 years go to either Keystone or Palm Springs.

It can very scary I agree. Buy I must say once I was out in public, with my GGF the first time, it was a roller coaster of OH CRAP and WOW. Every time I found us in a “scary” moment I was surprised by how it turned out. I had 2 young men hold the door for me and and say good evening maam. Waiter called me miss. Sales clerk complimented my attire and manicurist referred to us as ladies and girls.  Not 1 bad experience.  And that has not changed as yet.  I am sure eventually some one may scowl or mumble something my way but that’s their problem. Not mine. Its a hoot.

You know Samantha, I had never looked at it that way, at least not consciously, but that’s exactly right. The role you’re playing is YOURSELF! That’s really what I’ve been doing, I just didn’t think of it. THANKS!

I can get behind that, but there’d be a long line. Probably though we shouldn’t mention it here.
