First time out!

1. Great weekend! I did my own makeup for the first time, with my wife at me side both advising and encouraging. She said I looked like Bridgette. We actually went out to the store (I waited in the car) and to pick up take out for lunch, middle of the day. Neighbors might’ve seen, but I didn’t care. The girls at the drive thru didn’t seem to notice anything, or at least they said nothing. It was very empowering. Wife says she isn’t quite ready yet to be out with Bridgette out of the car, but maybe next time we have the chance. Next real opportunity will be mid January, maybe we’ll have a date night en Femme! So much pink fog!

So glad your first time out was a positive experience! I am sure it is the first of many to come. Each time you venture out, you gain confidence. I  have been making more and more forays into the world lately myself. Sadly, I go alone, as my wife is not supportive at all, but that hasn’t stopped me from going. Your wife is smart in taking things slowly. She sounds wise. You will thank her for it in the future. Never take a supportive spouse for granted. They are rare creatures who deserve to be cherished. You may tell her I said so. Lol.
