forum start page pictures not showing up (fixed)

hi girls. I dont normally post on here as this is a technical forum and I really dont do technical! for days I had an annoying problem with my wifes old laptop which was running windows 7 and used windows explorer as the browser. the forum pictures on the index were not there despite being on the main forum page. the fix in the end was simple, change your browser to either firefox or Microsoft edge. it might even work with opera but I dont know. I hope this might help any of you girls that have issues with this.
