      Hi Girls…

Ever thought about going on holiday? To a place that caters for trans folk? A boutique place in say… France, Spain, Italy? Maybe with a small boutique restaurant attached? To do stuff in a forgiving environment, get out and about, visit places of interest…

I’ve had a vision for some years now of starting a boutique hotel catering for a specialty of some sort. COVID has put a brake on my dream but… it won’t last forever, will it? If nothing else I shall open up a place in New Zealand?

My wife worked in the beauty industry and knows a whole lot of beauticians both here and in Europe. Wouldn’t it be fun to do a week being pampered?

Is there anyone in this community interested?

There is a week festival here in Port Angeles,Washington ( State). I am told it’s the whole town dedicated to trans and CD the whole week. Not Every week of the year as you are suggesting. Interesting concept, sounds like MOMA MIA!!

in the UK we have the Sparkle Event which is rated to be the biggest Transgender/CD event in the world.

Its a 4 day free event in the summer in Manchester with workshops, exhibitions, music events etc all taking place in a very safe LGBT are of the city. There are many establishments which support the event with free makeovers and hair styling classes, as well as discounts and personal shoppers.

So you can have a mini- holiday enfem in a safe location with like-minded individuals !

It sounds like a wonderful idea, although making it CD/trans only might not provide enough business.  And for me, traveling from the US to Europe would not be something I could do often.

I did have one year when I spent 4 days en femme, and later in the year another 5 days.  My daughter, who was in the marching band at college, was scheduled to study abroad, so didn’t head back to college for that semester.  But her college band was scheduled to play for the presidential inaugural parade.  So I drove her back to college on a Thursday.  She dormed with someone while she was there, so I had the hotel room to myself.  They did their practices on Friday and Saturday.  Sunday they drove off to Washington, DC.  The parade was Monday, and she was due back late in the evening.  So I spent Thursday night through Monday night en femme, even working remote from my room on Monday.  Problems developed and they didn’t make it back until Tuesday, but by the time I found this out I had already changed back.  I picked her up on Tuesday, and drove her home.  By Thursday morning she was off to study abroad for 6 months.

About 3 months later I attended a CD/TG conference.  I spent 5 days en femme, including a visit to the cemetery on the way up to visit my father’s gravesite. It had been a number of years before since I was there and it was not far out of the way to make the stop.  This trip I had virtually no male clothing with me.  (I had a pair of sneakers and tee-shirts to use at the fitness center at the hotel; but these were “male” but basically unisex.  I wore these with a skort for my workouts.)

Having experienced these outings, I would have no problem doing it again.

And you will be more than welcome, Alison! We’re really excited at this idea and while the trans community may not make up the number of visitors needed you all would have premiere status! xxx Polly

Hi Polly. Glad I fell upon this. I have had this type of endeavor in mind for a couple of years. Something I will lie in bed and think about. The details. Time will pass and it will resurface.
It is a secluded locale. South America is where it usually places itself.
Comes by exclusive invitation as, you will see, in this and future comments, is somewhat expensive. To make this happen and to maintain it, would have to be an expensive indulgence.
      7 days.
Only 8 guests at a time.
Castle/Mansion in a secluded beach front property. Pools, gardens, beach…
      Personal attendants
Events catering to being a more complete woman…
I will begin with one savory detail.
You fly to the island in a private jet – just you and the crew. You receive your first outfit (always a choice of 3 – much more to follow on this) on board the plane.
A Bentley Limo to the airport.
Your very limited luggage (more to follow) has already been shipped.

        Oh, dear Pink…

Nothing so grand as all that though we do envisage…

Theme evenings, make-overs, cosmetics advice, spa and massage, expert dressing advice and clothes shopping in house, freedom, freedom and more freedom!

If in Europe then a small rustic, boutique restaurant with a dozen covers attached/related to the hotel. We’re investigating small villages in Italy at this very moment and have at least three in site.

Pink you have a wonderful imagination! I’m sorry for my more than prosaic ideas though you will be most welcome xxx Polly

Sparkle is great – I was at the last one in 2019 with another member from CDH and was booked in for the 2020 one, which was cancelled for obvious reasons 🙁
I don’t think it has been officially cancelled yet for this year, but I’m guessing it will be , so roll on 2022!

Thank you, Polly, very kind.  Yes, that’s me, at a CD event in the UK last February, shortly before all the Coronavirus stuff kicked off – feels like a lifetime ago now!

Been looking at a CD cruise, 24/7 Kathryn! And in the Caribbean! A land-based boutique event would also be a delight! Please keep us informed! Hugs

      Hi all…

Thanks for all your votes and support! My wife and I are going ahead with this idea for sure! If it will transpire in New Zealand of in Europe is under debate and will not be before 2022 at the earliest. If in NZ then I am already working on various cosmetic therapies, wardrobe specialists, beauty treatments, vineyards etc with which to make your stay all the more fun.
If I may I will post some advertising material here or somewhere so as you may get an idea of the possibilities!

We all have to wait with bated breath for COVID to recede and the various economies to gather pace again before we can all travel with some degree of confidence.

      My thanks again Polly xxx

Hi Inga… are you by any chance of Serbian descent? 😀

Hmmm… truthfully, I have never thought of Eastern Europe although I have heard that the Adriatic Sea is really nice… the Black Sea as well!

The main reason for Western Europe is that I am multi lingual in the Romance languages as well as proficient in Scandinavian and German. Learning a Slavic language as well might be a step too far!

Anyway… you will welcome no matter where we end up for we are determined to make this work! xxx
