Hi everyone I am Shelby. I am 39 and very new to all this. This is pretty much the first time I’ve ever tried to reach out to others. I’ve been interested in dressing my entire life but have always pushed it into the back of my head and ignored it but as I get older I realize I don’t want to do that anymore. I don’t have a clue how to meet new friends especially near me that I can be myself around but I’d really love to change that. I’m tired of being alone and sad in my own head all the time so I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone

Girl when you get comfortable with us please join in with a story or two about thr life and times of Shelby as she travels down her own girly path in life.. Since you are just beginning your journey it is a wonderful time to explore the girl within you in so many ways. Practice with makeup is a great place to begin since there are so many ways you can use it to transform yourself and create a ‘look’ that can become your ‘signature’. And the possibilities from trying out different clothing styles are endless. Being able to tap into a network of helpful and loving friends here at CDH, who have “been there and done that”, is a resource beyond measure.
