Congratulations on your positive results. May you have many more such results in your future.
I honestly never thought about this distinctly female experience. Now that you have given me food for thought, I am finding myself a mite envious.
Hugs,
Charrie.

Way to be, Donna. The first time dealing with that machine can be a little intimidating, but a good tech and knowledgeable information goes a long way to making it easier.
One thing I did learn while visiting with the tech was that it was actually pretty normal for her to examine girls in transition and help ease them into the routine of breast health. She just wished GG’s would be as serious as we are about it.

Good news!
I had to have a mammogram about 10 years ago, I know what its like.
I was the only “male” in the waiting room or as they said, “the only man in years”.
I had hard lumps under my nipples and lumpy soft tissue that made my doctor suspicious.
Obviously all was well with me too, but is was an experience.Sorry if you have told this story already but I have been away for a bit…
Do you have significant breath tissue and was it in any way strange to be in a room mostly for women?Personally I loved it.

sorry to hear that know when went in for mine was ok with it being only male for the procedure. Actually the tech told me saying that more trans and specially cis woman should go for a exam. Ever since my breasts started and the mass and volume is forming more always been feeling for strange things. in the areas. Also tech even gave a smile once undressed and seen how they looked. She didn’t say nothing but did notice little smile and smiled back.
Nothing to it imagine those techs see it all the time no need to be embarressed or such. Everyone professional about it.

While breast cancer is more common in women. It’s frequent in men as well.
- August 13, 2021 at 11:18 am #530868Anonymous
What the tech told me when had mine done saying that more cis woman and men should schedule exam
Just like any other exam for routine even those darn colon screenings worse part on those is drinking that stuff.
