Hi Ladies,
What’s the most feminine hair color?
Blonde?
Brunette?
Redhead?I saw this question asked in another column and thought I’d share it.
The answer is simple – whichever color makes you FEEL the most feminine!

Definitely brunette Alice. That is my natural colour.

Mine is normal a ‘mousy blugh’ colour with big bits of grey – but for the last few years Ive been dyeing it red and love it – i have green eyes and it fits well with my complexion.

Alice, I have gray hair. I have the same hairline today that I had in high school.
I would love to have shoulder length gray hair.Jessica

I’ve gone gray, turning white, and with less hair to comb and more face to wash than I would like. But I’m letting it grow, just to see if I can give up wigs.

Hi Alice, my hair is 65% gray and 35% auburn. And at age 65, I’m pretty darn lucky that I have a lot of it. I quit cutting it when I retired three years ago and now it can cover my nipples in front and it goes past my bra strap in the back. But my daughter says I have split ends and she is giving me a gift card for a spa package including hair trim for Christmas (just to cut off a few inches of the split ends). Totally agree with your answer.
Hope you are having a lovely weekend, Hugs, Krista. - December 14, 2019 at 8:46 am #258556
Gray is the new blonde! I like to put in a bit of non-organic highlights, currently I have barely noticeable magenta streaks. My hair is down to mid-back, fairly straight and thick. I feel the most feminine with ribbons and bows holding my ponytail.

Hi Jin,
I’m grey now but was a brunette years ago.

I don’t know. I wear all three. Depends on my mood and whatever else I might be wearing.

There is no “feminine color.” But I definitely recommend the opinion of a hair stylist and/or wig stylist. Having stumbled on that once (I was en femme, but a friend was getting made up when a hairstylist wanted to mess with my do). The result was profound – I went from meh to sassy and fabulous within minutes, thanks to the power of auburn and how it complimented by blue eyes.

I’ve been messing around with colouring my hair for about a couple of months now. Went blonde then nut brown then platinum then chocolate brown and now I’m red/purple. While I understand the sentiment that there are no feminine colours I’d have to say that my hair right now makes me look femme. Guarantee that from behind I’d get mistaken for female.
