I recently bought a black pvc outfit and it’s my first time handling this kind of material. The most immediate feature is it smell which is quite strong. Is this typical for pvc or is there a way to make it less strong. I’m not sure how it would handle in the washing machine

I know the smell does fade but I don’t know if the washing machine will accelerate it or if it could harm it either.

I would probably not use the washing machine, but hand wash. The smell does diminish with time. It’s from the plastic itself.

Washing – it depends on the item.
If well-constructed, it can probably handle the gentle cycle. Turn inside out to wash, hang dry. I machine wash all my pvc stuff and have not had problems.
Make sure you wash with like colors since it might bleed a bit.…and then post pictures for us!! 😘😃

I would, but it is slightly erotic.

Well, Alexa, that’s why we wear pvc, snd why we want pictures. Just make it a classy pose… add a long-stem cigarette holder and a glass of wine with a nice background and anything can pass as classy!
😀👍
