I hate those little loops that are designed to keep clothes on the hangers. They always show. I pop them away, and they pop out. Some are seriously annoying. Many seem to be attracted to my hand by some invisible force. I tuck it away, remove my hand and it’s back. Like I hadn’t let it go. They are soooooo *&%$*&* annoying!
Apart from cutting them off, which I have done sometimes, any hints on getting them to stay hidden?

As a hanger loop victim myself I now buy my hangers with a felt covering, it acts like a low strength velcro. They come in packs of ten and are no more expensive than plastic hangers.

Cerys I completely agree! When I first saw those annoying things I wasnt even sure what they were for! Have never needed them, as my blouses and tops stay on the hanger quite fine.
If you dont use ’em, lose ’em! They are an unwanted nuisance and you are right, they are damn annoying.

I am with you on this Cerys. They are such a nuisance. I worked in a clothes store and when the dresses arrived the loops were tightly hooked around the top of the hangar so that the clothes wouldn’t slide in transit. We had to release each one as the customers could damage the dress when trying to take them off a hangar. We hated them.
Yes, cut them off and use a suitable hangar.

I remove them at the same time as the price tag. Buying better hangers for our cherished collections ?, ya we’re worth it lol.

I like them but prefer the hangers that have a notch to keep your clothes from sliding off.
I like to hang all my full slips and without the little hooks or the notches it’s impossible to keep them on hangers unless you loop them over the hanging hook.
I like to see the pretty lace bodice on my slips when hanging on the rack and doubling them up over the hanger ruins the view I like to see.
