It’s only in recent years that I have developed an interest in womens hats. It’s probably down to me being a fan of Kate Middleton the Duchess Of Cambridge.I love her hats as much as I love her outfits and shoes. When I saw her at the Queens Jubilee Celebations yesterday it reminded me how much I like her hats.I told my supportive wife today that as I don’t go out dressed as a woman there isn’t any point in investing in a hat.But I can dream. My ultimate fantasy would be for my wife and myself being all dolled up in gorgeous costumes and  hats for Royal Ascot in the UK.

I’ve been wanting a cute fedora hat for some time now. Haven’t found one in stores that looks good on me.

      Xoxo,

I have a Tilly hat.  Not particularly feminine, not particularly masculine either thankfully.  But they are excellent hats, and last forever!  It’s a beauty, eh. 🙂

I can’t take the sun and must cover up or I’m burned in an instant.  I’ve always got some kind of  hat.    Marg

Sadly, women wearing hats has become rare. Providing your own personal shade, a hat exudes feminine style. High Tea on the tennis lawn, a hat is mandatory.

Instead of women wearing these beautiful hats, we have men wearing baseball caps backwards… oh how fashion has fallen.

Umm… in my humble opinion, that is. 😁

Your opinion is spot on, Stevie. Families used to dress up to go to the movie theater. Now days, casual clothes worn to Church.

          What’s a Tilly hat?

I love hats and fascinators and have several.  No need to go out to enjoy wearing one.
