If I may, I think that you probably already know how this all makes you feel, which is every which way, yes? I would guess that you are feeling the full range of emotions, along with the two extremes that come with those emotions, correct? If it makes you feel any better, you are not alone, trust me.
My advice to you for now would be for you to vent those emotions with those you trust. No one should have to go through this alone, and you need not isolate yourself because you feel different. You can always take comfort in knowing that there are others like you who have been where you now find yourself. If you have no one in your life that you trust, you can always find the support you need here.
I wish you the strength to follow your heart.

You are right, I have cycled through 17 emotions in one day and ended up back where I started.

Hello DeeDee and welcome to a place you can call home. Be sure and take things slow and if there is someone you can share this with, I suggest that you should. You’ll see here many who are still in the closet and it makes it very hard. I tolled my SO many years ago and although she still not 100% I still don’t have to hide.
So take your time, ask anyone here for help if you need it and begin to enjoy the world that’s about to unfold in front of you.
