What can I say been cross dressing for as long as i can remember. Started with Mom’s cloths then on to my best friends sisters but he never knew, Lol. When I was up in Reno I would go out in public and some night clubs. Things have slowed down a little and I have not had the opportunity like I use to. Long story. I am looking foreword to making new friends and Hanging out.

Hello Amber welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are and found us and made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone it also helps others to read and grow through others experiences and stories to help them with their confidence and or path of acceptance. I am happy you have made the step to be here. Also great that you have been out before. Welcome!
When you get time if you could share a story or two about being out and how your road began it would be great.

Hi Amber, and welcome. This is definitely the place to make new friends and share your experiences. It sounds like you have been out and about in the past. I have discovered that so many girls here at CDH are almost petrified of going out in public, and in most cases it’s the fear they will not “pass”. And that’s a shame since I learned the secret to being out and about is not necessarily “passing” but more importantly “blending” into your surroundings and the people around you. I like to tell my friends who are timid about being seen in public to go to Walmart and watch the people coming and going. There are many CIS women who would not “pass” by most standards. That is why I am on a quest to help those I know to gain the confidence to be themselves and truly enjoy exploring their femininity. It sounds like you have already jumped that hurdle. As to having the opportunity to be Amber. I know what you mean, which is why I make frequent trips to Las Vegas where I can be Paulette in “friendly” surroundings. I am headed to Desert Crossroads in Palm Springs the end of the month. I have never been there before so I am excited to explore. I look forward to hearing more about your ‘adventures’!
