I want to thank Cynthia for helping me get started.
This is my third attempt at dressing. I stopped the first time when I was drafted. I started again after my divorce. I really enjoyed the 10 years or so that I was dressing. I had a wonderful group of girls I socialized with. Health issues stopped me. 2 back surgeries and 2 knee replacements. I just decided this last week to start again. As you may have guessed I am not young.
I prefer to wear vintage lingerie, garter belts, girdles and stockings. Most of my dresses will be conservative, i.e. not too short or revealing. It will be a bit before I post any pictures. Make-up is a challenge.
I am encouraged by this community and hope to become very active.

Hi Juli welcome to CDH it’s nice to meet you we are like one big happy family on here so don’t be shy come on in and join the family, I’m a mature crossdresser too I’ve been dressing most of my life since i was about 8 or 9 years old when i tried my older sister’s lingerie on I’m still in the closet to my wife and family, I’m sorry i can’t meet up with you for a coffee ☕ I’m on the other side of the pond in the UK, I’m sure there are lots of girls near to where you live who will be happy to meet up with you for a coffee and a chat I’m sure you will find lots of friends on here so if you have any questions just ask and the girls will get back to you X 🎀

Hi Juli and welcome from a forty-five year resident of Redmond, North Bend, Woodinville and Snohomish, who now, for the past six years, lives in Arizona.
Your story sounds so much like mine. We are only a few months apart in age. I went from being literally a full-time girl in 1968, to Vietnam in 1969. I gave up crossdressing for almost fifty years. But now Paulette is back, and she is having more fun that she could ever imagine. A contributing factor to this are the great friendships I have made here at CDH. Many of us have become so close we get together whenever possible, even if we are many miles apart. It’s a ‘sisterhood’ that rarely exists in this day and age. Let’s keep in touch. Moved around a lot. Went in country at DaNang and then moved to Vung Tau and Mekong Delta area. Finally Cam Ranh Bay. I was part of a Navy Comsec team. How about you?

We are probably the same age. I also went in 69. My biggest problem with dressing is I tend to look like a linebacker in drag. Too many years of heavy lifting.

As a new sister and family member you are welcomed with open arms into our home as well as yours now also.. So when you get comfortable with us please join in with a story or two about the life and times of Juli as she travels down her own girly path in life ..
