I first remember crossdressing as a small child, getting stuck in a dolls dress, which was a horrifying experience. I came out as a cross dresser to my SO about 20 or more years ago, shes been really great about it as she crossdresses the other way. Last August my best friend came out to me as trans. Despite having a million questions for her, that were really for myself, I didn’t really say anything, thus began my journey.I have come to realise that I have experienced gender euphoria and dysphoria since I was a teenager. I’m currently taking small steps ,with my significant other. I’m Looking to talk to other people in similar situations for help and advice .

Hi Simone, I just revealed my femme self to my wife of 40 years July last year. I have found I too have enough dysphoria that I want to transition through HRT (to start – an orchiotomy will likely be in the offing shortly). My wife has been angry and scared about all this, but she knows I need to do this and she is staying with me while we figure out what our marriage will look like.
