Help with beard shade

I am pretty good with my make up, but am having a real hard time concealing the 5’o clock beard, and l mean rigth after shaving

I use <span style=”color: #111111; font-family: ‘Amazon Ember’, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;”>Graftobian HD Crème Foundation Corrector</span>, which is the recommended color for beard shadow. First, I apply a primer (Lanacane) on my face and around my eyes. A little goes a long way! Then, I do my eye liner. Then I apply the Graftobian HD Creme Foundation Corrector.  A little goes a long way here as well. Then I finish my eye makeup. Next I apply a liquid Foundation.  I’m not sure if this is the correct order, but it seems to work. I’m open to suggestion

I heard tattoo concealers work well too. I have yet to try them, but I am in the same place as you with the beard issue. If I could just figure a way to conceal my shadow completely, then I would be all set.

Ben Nye Five O’Sharp concealer.  Works wonders.  Basically look for stage makeup that actors use.  They have a few different makeups for concealing beard stubble.

Ivonne, Since beard shadow tends to be bluish, you need a corrector/concealer that neutralizes the blue. Orange is the exact opposite shade on the color wheel, so it is best at neutralizing beard shadow. You can buy an orange concealer at most makeup vendors. There are numerous recommendations about how to apply the concealer but I have excellent success putting it under my foundation, over my primer. I set the concealer with powder then apply foundation.

Another makeup application step that makes the orange concealer even more effective is to ensure that you apply both concealer and foundation with a stippling brush using a small, gentle swirling motion, first clockwise then counter clockwise. This ensures the makeup is worked into the pores, which helps to prevent pore shadows (which can also look like beard shadow).
