An iridescent beacon of beauty
A creature part angel part fairy
Floating through life on invisible wings
Spreading joy like it’s her noble duty
She feels so deeply it’s almost scary
At her embrace the darkest heart sings
Full of empathy she loves only truly
You ask if she moves me I say very
I give her my heart my soul my everything
At her gaze my pulse grows unruly
Arrogance malcontent she has nary
Love and hope her protective rings
I crave her laugh
I worship her smile
Her radiance consumes
I stand unworthy
A lesser being
I shed my ego
And pray to all deities I never fall from her grace

This is taken totally out of context. I stole it from the forum topic, Suppression Strategies. I am not religious at all and don’t want to take away from the reverence of that forum thread. But I love this line, taken from that thread so thought I could share it here.
“Grace is giving me something wonderful that I don’t deserve. How beautiful is that?”
Again, totally out of context but makes me think of her.

That’s not out of context at all. That is exactly what she is something wonderful I don’t deserve. Thank you for that!

This is Grace Scarlett personified. Everything in this poem is Grace.
