Hey Reba
I’m a long way from Botswana (I’m in Norfolk, UK) but welcome to CDH!
I’m trans, and I’ve been dressing since I was seven. I only found this site myself back at the beginning of July, but I’ve loved every second of my time here since then. I hope that you have the same experience. It’s a wonderful, supportive community and a great place to make friends.
So, once again … welcome!

I’m really ashamed to say that I know nothing about Botswana … I’ve only just found out that Gaborone is the capital city, so now I feel really uneducated 🙂 It’s got a population which is roughly similar to my nearest city though (Norwich), so I can sort of picture its size at least.
Of course, now I want to find out more!
When you get a chance, perhaps you can fill in a little detail about yourself in your profile. It’s often one of the first things that the girls here look at when anyone new joins.

Hello Reba I am a long way from Botswana being in The United States. I want to welcome you to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are. Having found us you have made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or levels of closeted dressing or underdressing or public expression and or personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression from differing levels of crossdressing to those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of self acceptance and expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or space were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are that you are not alone and this is a place where you can feel safe to express and share part of yourself as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, a man who dresses as a woman, if it makes you a better complete human being expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. For some it means remaining private for some telling a select few ultimately you have to do whats best for your own situation and you ultimately know best. I appreciate you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. Being here helps not only yourself but helps others gain acceptance and confidence in themselves. I am happy you have made the step to be here. Welcome!

I’m a mature crossdresser I’ve been dressing most of my life since i was about 8 or 9 years old when i tried my older sister’s lingerie on, I’m still in the closet to my family,
I’m sorry i can’t meet up with you for a coffee I’m in the UK, I’m sure there are lots of girls near to where you live who will be happy to meet up with you for a coffee and a chat, I’m sure you will find lots of friends on here so if you have any questions just ask and the girls will get back to you X

Thank you for your kind words and making me feel that I am not only one.I have in the closet for all my life. There are times when I crossdress when nobody’s home.That’s the only freedom I have. Sometimes I paint my nails,wear pantyhose even wear women’s clothes just so I could express my feminine side.
