Next Thursday,  Apr 29 final preop for knee replacement surgery on May 19th.  I’ll  probably  be somewhat bitchier than I  usually can be, so might cut back  my time here for a while.

To balance out the not so good, here’s some good🙂:

My doctor said she’ll start me on my HRT on April 30th.

    No, I ain’t scared, just nervous😄

My wife had a knee replaced two years ago and hasn’t had any trouble from it since then. Walked upstairs at home the following night without real trouble. Full revive took another unrelated surgery to repair other unrelated damage, but now she’s better than she’s been in years.

I’m sure your more excited about the hurt than anything else. Be well, and keep us up to date on your progress!

Holly, all the best on your surgery. Had my knee replacement done on Jan 26. I had 2 weeks of no dressing while I stayed at my daughters, Did have my laptop so I could keep up on the goings on here at CDH. I did not have a lot of pain unless I tried to bend the knee to far to soon. My biggest problems were the knee got very stiff and I had little strength in the leg for weeks. Now things are starting to come around for me, I got back to work the day after Easter, Thank God they allowed me to go back part time first and work my strength up so that tomorrow I am back full time. I can feel my knee getting stronger and I have more confidence that it is strong enough to do the job.
Also good luck on your hrt, hope that goes well for you also and you get all you are expecting from it!!
