Hi Ladies
I want to try and get a really feminine shape, hour glass figure. There are a lot of products out there such as hip pads etc.
What do you use and what would you recommend to me to use to enhance my shape ?

Well, there is the ever popular corset (right) to slim the waistline. If you decide on a corset, I suggest buying one for just around the waist. Also, don’t buy one of the cheaper ones that come in small, medium, large and so on. But one that come in actual sizes. You would buy one, to start with, two sizes smaller then you actual wait size. It will take some getting use to. The first time I wore one, I could wear it only for about an hour before I had to take it off. It gets better the more you wear it.
Then there are breast forms. There are all kinds out there for foam, silicon to plate. Silicon are the best choice and some can even be tape to you chest to feel the weight. Plates can look very real but require some hidding of the edges and tend to hold body heat in.
Then there’s the padding of the hips and butt. Again there all kinds out there from padded briefs to gel pads. I personally make my own hip and butt padding, using foam rubber and shaping it.

Hey Marcie (from another Marci). Secrets In Lace has some fabulous high-waisted padded shaper panties, that include removable sponge pads in the butt area (https://www.secretsinlace.com/product/926/Panties). They are only $US34, and were shipped to my PO Box in Australia in less than a week (though they may take a little longer at the moment) They are now my go-to shape wear (yes, I could also do with hip pads too, but for now I’m happy with these). And they look good enough that my figure has been admired a couple of times by GGs in shops, as in “how did you get that butt shape?” So that was nice feedback to have. Oh, and they are super comfortable.
Cheers,

Marci;
The other girls have said the main things. I use them all, but the what I’ve found is the hard part, is figuring out what works for you. It depends on just how much of a figure you want to get. I have a few different waist cinchers. The one that gives the best waist reduction is a boned one, though if I’m going out for a long time, it gets rather uncomfortable, and the boning bites me after a while.
The previous poster mentioned that it is hard to get on, then takes quite some getting used to, and I can certainly second that! The first time I put it on, I nearly gave up, but finally got it all done up. For all day use, I have a latex one which doesn’t bring me in as much, but in combination with the breast forms and hip and bum pads gives me a reasonable figure.
Bear in mind that my actual age is 66, most take me for mid 50’s, and that’s in male mode, and with makeup maybe 50ish in femme mode. Whatever, I don’t have the wonderful figure of a young woman, and its’ not to be expected at my age.
I use a combination hip and bum padded panties, and actually have three sets. These still don’t give me hips as wide as I’d like, but at least its way better than my guy figure! There are places where you can order custom hip and or bum pads that adhere to you, and they certainly likely look better, but are much more expensive option. I like being able to pull up my panties, and presto, I have a nice ass! Actually I’ve compliments on my bum from others when wearing jeans, or similar with these on, so they do work.
Lastly, I found it a bit of minefield to try to sort this stuff out from online catalogs, but I’m generally happy with the result, most days.

Thanks Amy. Actually, there’s only a year or 2 between us, you know, but please don’t tell anyone else…
And yes, corsetry. I have one, designed for the male shape, that I bought decades ago, and has survived any purging desires (in the end, I find I never had the heart to purge, which I’m happy about now). It’s quite easy to get on, and gives me pretty good shape. More recently I’ve succumbed to temptation and taken advantage of Corset Story’s GREAT offers (they make terrific corsets, seem to be fab quality, and have an amazing returns policy (whether wrong sizing or just change of mind)). Thing is, they are monsters to get on and evenly tight in solo mode, given it’s like some sort of complicated wrestling process with (literally) both arms behind your back. They arrived recently, in the middle of our summer, and then it’s just too damn hot to be wrangling corsets… A helper, at least for now, isn’t an option, so I will continue the struggle once the weather gets cooler. Oh, and one day, I know the shoelace-type bow tied by me at my back will turn out to be a tangled knot. Scissors will be my Plan B.
For now, a super tight (and pretty robust) garter belt from Honey Birdette, or just sucking in my tummy for photos, has to suffice.
Hmmm. I just think I hijacked a reply to Marcie-with-an-e when I reread Amy’s response. Sorry everyone, hope you are all happy for this to stay…

I want a corset so bad but really don’t wanna mess that purchase up. What should one look for in a corset. I wouldn’t wanna end up with a weak novelty thing.

Hi, This could be a long or short answer not sure but let’s give it a go. You can enhance your own figure by adding hip as that’s probably the best way of balancing out the shoulder to male waist ratio. Now, there are quite a lot of options you can consider. I have purchased silicone hip pads in the past and they work very well if a little on the expensive side. You can make your own out of foam THIS VIDEO might help.
To reduce the waist down, thus making the hips look more rounded I would suggest a training soft type corset as they can be worn under clothing and there are not so many tail-tale signs if you know what I mean. I have also used a waist clincher at times to smooth out the lines. I hope that helps someone out?

I got myself a corset. It came today. I love it so far. It took about an hour to get it on and tightens as much as I could. I tightened it a couple hours later a little. But I couldn’t tie it well. It’s a faux leather steel boned quality corset that works with my look and likes. As a girl I embrace the heavy metal / biker look of my male self too I wish I could get someone to lace it and tie it for me but I’ll get used to it. It’s definitely giving me incentive to lose weight too. I’ve had it on for 7 hours and yes I can feel it and will probably take it off soon but it’s not uncomfortable either and I love the look it gives me

If anyone’s thinking of corsets, Corset Story now has a 4-for-1 offer (ie, you get 4 for the price of 1). I’m sure like all retailers, they are getting really hurt by what’s going on, and just trying to survive with specials and innovative offers.
Here’s the offer: https://corsetstory.com.au/pages/buy-one-get-three-free-sale (they are English, this is the site with Australian pricing, so just change to your country/region).
They also have a really good returns policy, though maybe that’s been scaled back a bit if they are worried about any sort of contamination from trying on clothes that you then want to return/exchange. Just don’t make the initial mistake I made, which was to go for the smallest size I typically fit, but because corsets don’t stretch (duh!) I couldn’t get on. Especially if you’re trying to do it all single-handed. Exchanging for a size up was no problem at all.

Hi Marcie – I’ve found a couple of things work well for me (at least in my opinion – not a lot of non-biased feedback to be had, so for what it’s worth!). First, reasonably sized breast forms proportionate to your chest and shoulders, along with quality bras that keep them located. Below that I use a couple of different types of corsets. I’m about a 40 to 41 inch waist, and I use corsets that run from just under the breasts to just above the pubic area. Keeps the tummy tucked in. The corsets are a size 34, meaning they could, if tightened fully, reduce my waist to a 34 inch size. I usually take it to about a 35. All together these items give me a nicely reduced waist and emphasize the hips enough that I kind of look like an “athletic” bodied lady. Clothes matter as well – flared skirts emphasize the hips more than tight ones. But I look damn good in skinny jeans too. Hope all that helps!

Exercise is the best way to achieve this. Squats do an really good job
