How dare you, 2021!!!

I’m fed up with this year, & I’m glad it’s over! As a last “f*ck you”, 2021 has taken one of the finest, funniest women who ever uttered an inappropriate sentence. I’m talking about our beloved Betty White. When I “grow up” I want to be just like her! She was my “birthday twin”.
My birthday will never be the same again. It will be less happy & more lonely. God bless you, Betty. The world just became less funny.

This was so upsetting!  Right on the eve of New Years too.   I was looking forward to toasting her 100th later this month.

As much as she is known for Golden Girls, I really loved her in Hot in Cleveland.  Thanks for the memories Betty ❤

i saw it on the news this morning that Betty White passed away just before 2022 came in. what a sad thing to hear. she was a legend in our comedy. she will never be forgotten.

What a year that was! We hoped that 2020 would not be repeated with the covid pandemic which curtailed many of our activities. Then, like any year, 2021 took from us some people that were revered by many causing much sadness. April Ashley, who was a staunch supporter of Trans rights and Betty White who entertained over many years. There are others who were dear to our heart. They may be gone but they but their legacies will live on in fond memories.

Let us hope 2022 will bring some joy as it is a new year and new beginning.
