How Do I Meet Crossdressing Friends In My Area?

HHi Again, I live in Boston, but I am having a difficult time finding platonic crossdressing friends. I tried Craigslist, but now you have to be subtle on what you are looking for. Any advice?

Nice to see another Boston girl here!  I live in western Massachusetts now and still very much in the closet. Through responding to forum posts, photos, articles etc. and visiting chat you can begin developing friendships here and as a member  you can look under the Friends tab and enter Boston as a search parameter.  So you maybe able to find other members close by and see if you can become friends.

I miss craiglist yes a lot of crazy people but I am very picky can say hard to meet people being picky  in western MD there is nobody and some of the ones I would talk to just played GAMES ect  tried facebook no luck either

I haven’t been at CDH anywhere near as long as you have, so this will probably wind up being no help at all, but I thought I’d just throw it out there. In my town there’s an online crossdressers “meetup group” whose mission is to provide crossdressers with an opportunity to meet and GO OUT with other gurls to restaurants, social gatherings, CD-friendly venues, etc. I was so excited when I found the site….. and then I realized: Wait!! I’m in the closet! Still not ready to meet the public, even in the company of other gurls.

It’s doesn’t cater specifically to crossdressers as the one here does, but you might be able to message the “organizer” of the meetup group to see if s/he knows of anything in the Boston area that might help you in your quest.

I just want to add that, for myself, my current address is here at CrossDresser Heaven and I find all the kinship, understanding, and sisterhood that I could possibly want at this time of my life.

That’s one of my goals. To meet another cross dresser in my area as s platonic friend. I tried meetup but ended up with a mailbox full of unwanted photos. Thought I had met a nice friend but within 3 days of emails it went down hill fast. Needless to say it was a very disappointing experience.
