Hi Stevie, Well there are a bunch of lucky ladies here when it comes to gardening.  I am a bit envious. My garden’s growing season ended in mid-September when we were hit with frost. I did manage to harvest beans, green onions, lettuce and potatoes.  But we would definitely starve if we had to rely on the food from our garden.  We used to have strawberries but our previous dog, a holy terror purebred border collie named Ziggy, destroyed those plants.  Stay healthy everyone, All the Best, Hugs, Krista.

Are you in disguise when harvesting?  Or are you out in the dark in your cerise lingerie?

Still getting a few Tomatoes out of the conservatory!  Fantastic variety called “Apero”. Exceptionally sweet and the fruit stays on the plant for ages and gradually shrivels  –  like sun-dried tomatoes! – but a lot smaller than Amanda’s plums.

Also lots and lots  of super-hot chilli’s.  (e.g Moruga Scorpion, 7pot yellow, Paper lantern). Some of the plants are overwintering (unheated!) and putting out new shoots at the base.

Don’t forget – if you grow Leeks they like to be pee’d on!   Is that how you water your plants, Stevie?

Hmmm, pee’d on.  I was going to make a batch of potatoe and leek soup today.  But since I have some left over chicken, guess I’ll make a cock-a-leekie soup instead.😅
