Hello everyone! I’m so glad I found this site. I have been dressing on and off for a few years, but always in private. I feel like I’m ready to be in public now, but not to anyone who knows me, as my family and most of my friends are super conservative and I’ll become a pariah. I’m hoping to meet and make friends with other dressers and potentially hang out with them IRL.
I have very few women’s clothes (have to be careful) and I read in awe as everyone here talk about their clothes. I hope one day to have a collection and be able to freely dress as I please.

Hi Jen welcome to CDH it’s nice to meet you, we are like one big happy family on here so don’t be shy come on in and join the family, I’m a mature crossdresser I’ve been dressing most of my life since i was about 8 or 9 years old when i tried my older sister’s lingerie on, I’m still in the closet to my wife and family, I’m sorry i can’t meet up with you for a coffee ☕ I’m on the other side of the pond in the UK, I’m sure there are lots of girls near to where you live who will be happy to meet up with you for a coffee and a chat, I’m sure you will find lots of friends on here so if you have any questions just ask and the girls will get back to you X

I am full time girl 👧 everyone I know calls me Christina. I got 3 closets of dresses 👗 and still looking at more dresses 👗 or materials to make more dresses 👗. You talk to the girls 👧 here they should be able to help you. We are glad to have you welcome to the site

Hi Christina! I just got my first dress yesterday and put it on today together with some accessories and cosmetics. I’ve ordered a gown, shoes and makeup that I’m looking forward to try on later this week. Storage is a problem (sigh) and it looks like I’ll have to rent a locker somewhere nearby!

I totally understand how alot of Texas is pretty conservative. Luckily I live in a very progressive town! I recently just came out to my best girlfriend here and she was very accepting, along with my wife and daughter. I hope someday you too can live more freely and express your femininity how you see fit!

Hi Jen, and welcome. You are expressing something that is very common to those of us who wish to explore our feminine nature and that is finding the best place to go out and about without being “outed”. Obviously this is much harder in a small town or within a neighborhood which is why many girls I know go-to neighboring towns or bigger cities. Whatever you do don’t allow the fear of going out in public to dissuade you from doing do. I think you will find once you go out it will be an enjoyable experience. I know it has been for me. Hello Jen welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are and found us and made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. I am happy you have made the step to be here. Welcome!
There was an informal CD/Trans event in San Antonio that was held September, I believe they were planning on having one in 2023 also.

Hi Jen, welcome! I’ve only been crossdressing a little over 2 years. I understand conservative friends and family, I’m just a few hours north of you in central Oklahoma…super conservative. A big hello from across the river! Looks like we both found this site around the same time. I can completely understand your concerns in regards to stepping out in public while also maintaining your anonymity on account of less accepting people. I struggle myself with that as I’m beginning on this journey.
