Hello all.

I, like many of you, probably share a very common story that took me too long to realize there was nothing wrong with me.

I grew up a crossdresser from earliest childhood but didn’t quite understand why I saw myself and the world in a different way than my close friends and family. I struggled. I acknowledged who I was and denied it over and over again. Bought the things that made me happy then threw them away out of shame.

As I watched perceptions of LGBTQ change in a more positive light, I began feeling more comfortable with myself and decided to seek out what is inside of me that is so desperately trying to get out. Why do I feel like there’s a female voice in my head saying, “Let me drive for awhile”

In my search I discovered I’m normal and I’m not alone in the world. So now that my better half is “driving” most everyday, I thought I would seek out my people.

Hi people. I made it.

Other than that my life is normal, I work (creative director) for an international tech firm. I love good sci-fi, and I’m classify myself as a nerdy girl. I working hard to be healthy as I continue this transformation. I’m honestly excited about it beyond belief.

Hi Alice and welcome  to CDH, it’s the best move you’ll ever make believe me. I was a very lonely girl until I found Cross Dresser Heaven and it has made a huge difference to me mentally since I joined last December.

And I’m with about finding what is inside you wanting to get out. Alice and Trish have been with us since our birth. They are part of who we are and luckily I figured it out on my own and my parents weren’t happy but were supportive. I hope you enjoy your time with your sisters and girlfriends.

Hi Lesley, and welcome. You are certainly in good company here in that so many of us feel like you do, and have experienced what you have. Yes, it it is so good to see how things have changed. When I began seriously crossdressng in public in the late 1960’s I was too dumb I guess to realize it was illegal in many places. It wasn’t until I experienced the wrath of a cop, who discovered my ‘secret’ that I “got religion”! That said, what is so good about today is when I go out and about, even if anyone notices, they don’t seem to care! And yes, hun you are NORMAL. It’s just a shame it took us (and so much of the world) so long to realize it! I look forward to following you in your ‘adventures’! Hugs, Paulette

It took me a long time to realise that I’m a crossdresser and now I’ve accepted I’ll always be a crossdresser,
