Just got back from having my nails done. I went with tips put on and dip American nails. Last time I had gel French nails. I think I like the dip better than the gel application. The gel doesn’t last as long and I’m hoping these last a few weeks. I do enjoy sitting and having someone work on my nails and when done I just can’t stop looking at them. I used to just have them cut and cleaned up but now I want them looking shiny and beautiful. I find the only comments I get from people are “love your nails”.

There were two young teen girls getting their nails done next to me. And one asked if I like having my nails done, I said yes that I like having clean nice nails. She said she wished boys would do that because they don’t take care of them at all. They told me they were going to their school dance and after this they were getting their hair done. It was cute watching them all excited about their night.

I have never been to a nail salon (would love to)
I’ve been wearing nail polish on my toes,ring and pinky fingers for about a year now that my family has accepted (Dare to be different) not sure how they would react if I painted them all, most colours are “manly” ie; grey,blue,green and nude colours, in private I wear reds pinks and bright colours, I constantly get compliments some women have said why not paint them all

You should go have your nails done Sarah…I usually get French nails but went American this time with tips. The American nails are more muted and not as bright as French tips and I do like them. I put on tips to let them grow out easier and if I break one then it’s not the real nail I’m having to cut back shorter.
