Very appropriate as we observe our fallen brothers and sisters on Saturday. U.S. Army, 12 Bravo, 1969-1971. Volunteer at the National World War I Museum and Monument. Consider it a high honor to serve there, and show that history to all who visit. To all my veteran sisters, thank you so much. 👏👏👏

I did not serve due to being 1Y and ultimately 4F during the Viet Nam era. However, whenever I see messages life this, it reminds me that we have been just about everywhere and done just about everything. That is a very powerful message.

I wonder who got the kick back for selling those awful things (boxers) to the Navy? I trashed every single pair, while on boot camp leave, replaced with jockey shorts, as did every shipmate I knew. Wonder what women were forced to wear, but then again, in 1966, I very rarely saw a female in the military.
