Hello everyone 😊
Can anyone give me advice on how to keep my makeup from βcrackingβ after a few hours? By that, I mean on the cheeks, my skin will show bumps or something. I use a powder foundation, apply some makeup to my cheeks. I didnβt apply Β final masking spray this last time because Iβve suspected perhaps thatβs why the makeup βcracksβ after a while.
Thanks to everyone. This is a wonderful site.

Hi there,
Thanks for asking the question! Do you currently use a Primer in your makeup routine? Primers help to take care of our skin, whilst also helping to increase the longevity of your makeup and keep it looking fresher for longer! Here’sΒ a YouTube video we’ve created on the subject of primers and the differences between the ones we stock at Jecca, you can watch that here.
Setting your makeup with a loose, translucent face powder also helps to set your makeup in place and helps to keep it lasting longer.
Also, as you mentioned, using a setting mist as the final step of your routine helps to melt the layers of makeup together slightly and helps to keep everything looking fresher for longer! We’d defo recommend this step if you’re finding your makeup isn’t lasting as long as you’d hope.
Hope that helps!
