Hello to fellow members.
60 year old part time Bi CD is seeking to get to know other members on this site for friendship, and suggestions to enhance the CD experience. I have been crossdressing privately for over 15 years, and thinking of “expanding” my horizons somewhat.
Any inquiries are welcome and will try to answer them if I can on a basic membership. I am trying to figure out now what is allowed on this site, and what is not, with a standard membership.

Lots of us are older girls so you’ll fit right in on that score.

Hi Kevin. I live in the Rockford Illinois area, s0 not to far from you. I think you would love going out en femme. I used to be too scared to go out as Kerri but now I do and it is very liberating.
Hi Kevin, welcome and thanks for sharing a little about yourself. I venture out dressed a bit from time to time. But I’m still mostly in the closet (kind of). I do try to set new goals to push myself out of my comfort zone, never a dull moment! 🙂 I’m sure you will fit right in here on CDH, there are girls at all different stages here.

Thank you for your words of support. I too only dress in my home, but possibly in the future I will venture out and see if anyone reacts to me dressing up feminine.

Hello Kevin welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are and having found us and made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. Being here helps not only yourself but helps others gain acceptance and confidence I am happy you have made the step to be here. Welcome!

Thank you for your insight, and words of encouragement. Although I just dress up in my home now, possibly I may venture out in the world wearing my feminine attire. That is a major step because of living in a small town. (Seems like everyone knows one another)
I have found that this sight is quite beneficial and friendly to members of the CD community so far.

Hi Kevin, and welcome. I am considerably older than you (75) and have only returned to crossdressing about six years ago after a long time away. When I returned I told my wife and family right up front, and after some awkward moments things settled down nicely to where I can be Paulette as long as I do not overdo it, (which is fine by me since it takes so long to get ready I doubt if I would want to do it every day!). I do go ‘out and about’ both solo and with some of my CD friends. It is so much fun to get all made-up and do ‘girly’ things. I hope to hear more from you. Hugs, Paulette

Guess I am self conscious about going out in public dressed up like I do at home. With some encouragement I may in the future. Right now I am in my comfort zone dressing feminine in my home in the country.
