Im a husband to a wonderful wife of 13 years and father to four boys. I recently opened up to my wife about my desires to crossdress and my crossdressing journey. She has supported and accepted me for the most part. I am hoping it grows on her and we can enjoy this part of my life together someday. Like many of you I started when I was young trying on my mother’s dresses and heels. I have always loved femininity and it has always been a strong part of my life in secret. My wife has always know that I liked to try on her clothes in the bedroom occasionally but she never knew the extent of my desire to crossdress. Luckily she has been pretty accepting so far. We are keeping it a secret from our kids for now and I don’t plan on ever being “ full time” but I would love nothing more than to go on vacation with her and be able to go out dressed and have a wonderful night with her. I’m excited to see what this group offers for support and advice for my journey and growth as a crossdresser. This is a huge step for me and I would love to be a part of this community. Thanks for having me!

Hello Katrina welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are as a man a husband and a father Im happy for you and your wife that you have found us and made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. It is so good to hear that you have told your wife and she is supportive and accepting although it may not be perfect at all times you are way farther ahead of so many here at CDH. Hopefully you sharing this with your wife will help build mire trust and intimacy in your relationship. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. Being here helps not only yourself but helps others gain acceptance and confidence I am happy you have made the step to be here. Welcome!
