Hi Lorenda, and welcome! I think you will find this to be a great place to share and learn. I can attest firsthand that it is also a great place to make new friends. If you are just starting out exploring your feminine side I suggest you take ‘baby steps’. The reason I suggest this to “New Girls” is because the experience can be so wonderful it is almost like savoring a fine wine to be enjoyed with small sips! When I resumed dressing about five years ago after a long absence I began by experimenting with makeup. Yes, there are some good YouTube tutorials on makeup for crossdressers, but the best way is to practice and practice some more until you find the “Signature Look” every girl like us should have. If you are concerned about “passing” I suggest you chose appropriate clothing and practice adopting feminine mannerisms. As I say, a girl can be as beautiful as can be, but if she walks like a ‘linebacker’ it sends up red flags. I encourage you to consider going ‘out and about’ as Lorenda since it is a fantastic way to experience your feminine self as you go out shopping and doing things girls do. Of course, in Columbus that may not be as easy as in a big city. (Two of my best friends are from Columbus, and being from a small town myself, I know how smaller towns (especially in Nebraska can be)! That said, I also know today if anyone even notices they don’t seem to care. Have fun! Hugs, Paulette
Hi Lorenda nice to meet you and so happy you found and joined us girls here so get settled in relax and enjoy yourself here.. As a new sister and family member you are welcomed with open arms intoour home as well as yours now also.. Girl there is such a wealth of knowledge here to access and learn from as many ladies telling there stories about there travels down there femme road in life .. When you get comfortable with us please join in with a story or two ab0out the life and times of Lorenda as she journeys down her girly path also.. Now as for making friends here there are so many ladies from all over the world to build long lasting friendships with and guess what we all are just a click away from you .. So again girlfriend nice to meet you and hope to see you around for a chat sometime..
