Placing pictures with updates

Hey all — I can’t seem to figure out how to place pictures on my wall updates — I got it to work somehow before but now I’m lost — Can somebody give me a navigation path? — Thanks in advance! — B.

I rarely have success placing pictures, or links for that matter. Some links are placed and work, others just vanish as soon as I click Submit. I made a post in General Chat yesterday with a link and the whole thing just disappeared. I tried a second time with the same result.
