      My dear angels,

      Of this womans heaven,

      I have a poetry challenge,

      Part two for thee.

      It’s much more personal,

      than the last,

      But definitely unique,

      From Lass to lass.

When you look in the mirror

      What do you see?

      I see old friend going,

      Passing his memories to me.

I see his soft blue eyes,

      Caring and sad,

      Turning playful,

      With a happy slant.

      I saw his brows,

      not long ago,

      They were big and bushy.

      Care free.

Now I look at my my eyes curtains

      Much more refined and feminine.

I almost cried when first I saw,

      Their shape and figure,

In the reflection of the shops’ mirror.

      I see the colours,

that once I dreamed to wear,

      The reds, purples and gold,

      That flirt “look at me”.

      Can you keep a secret,

      I trust you,

      I sometimes wear,

      Pink clothes too.

      On my nails,

      Which are red and sparkle

      In them shoes,

      Which are high and open.

      I see my locks,

      Long Auburn,

      Curling round,

      my oversized chin.

      His natural hair,

      Is still just there,

      Though much longer,

      Than he could bear.

      I see a figure,

      In a blouse and skirt,

      Shoes too high,

      Bust just right.

      I see me,

      Shining though,

      Trisha smiling face

      And body too.

      So please my ladies,

Feel free to write in words,

      What’s in the reflective glass.

It doesn’t have to be skilled,

      Or rhyme and dance,

      But honest,

      I hope I can ask?

      That is lovely Trisha.

Not going to try poetry to answer your question.

I see in the “reflective glass” a different version of me. Prettier. More daring. Comfortable in my own skin. Contented for now. And I am most delightfully amused by the lady looking back at me.

        My dearest Clara,

My Amused, confident and daring lady,

I’m glad you’re happy with the sight,

        Of miss Cross’s

        In the reflective type.
