  Hi Vanessa, just deviating a little here, is microsoft edge, internet explorer? or is it a totally different thing altogether? just confused.

    They are different.
    We do not have plans to support Internet Explorer.
    Microsoft is moving Edge over to use the same technology as Chrome, and when they do chat should work well on Edge.

  Yes, i had this exact problem, i was tearing my hair out what little i have left! i too was using microsoft edge. In the end i installed the Chrome browser on my computer and used that, ever since, i have had no more problems and better still, no more refreshing!

    Chrome, Firefox and Safari work well. We’ve had trouble with Internet Explorer and Edge.
    Microsoft is actually moving Edge over to use the same technology as Chrome for rendering web pages, so I expect this will get better once they make the switch.
    
    For now I encourage you to use one of those three browsers.
