Send a Valentine to those who mean a lot to you-friend, lover, whomever!

Hey Ladies! Just wanted to encourage everyone to send a Valentine’s Day greeting to their friends here on the site! I know that many of us are fortunate to be in loving supportive relationships with SOs while others of us are not so blessed at this point in our lives. A Valentine’s greeting might be the highlight of someone’s day-brightening their spirit and reminding them that they are loved and needed by someone! So commit to sending a minimum of one PM or email or call to another member on the site(but don’t feel LIMITED to just one!). If we all did this then imagine how much love could be spread amongst our community! Then don’t forget your friends and family outside the site too! Happy Early Valentine’s Day to all the lovely ladies of CDH. I feel blessed to know each of you and offer each of you a virtual bouquet of roses, a virtual box of chocolates and a huge hug and smile! Reply here when you’ve sent one and even share it here if you’re willing!And don’t wait ’til the last minute-let’s let the love flow all month!

What a lovely sentiment Cyn, I tend to send out many to those around me. I wasn’t a member at this time last.

I’ll put some thought and heart into it, as I hope many will.

I’ll start it off. There are many whom I plan to send PMs too but I’ll reserve this first message to the two people who taught me what true love is.

Mom and Dad,
From the moment I was born ’til the last days of your lives, you showed me by example how to love-
with eyes wide open-seeing each other’s flaws but accepting each other without reservation or hesitation. Always being kind to each other even when you wanted to scream. Never arguing or yelling at each other in front of we children. Loving each of your seven children as much as the other. Staying together through the inevitable tough times. And always ensuring that each of you felt so incredibly lucky and blessed that the other somehow found each other and shared fifty wonderful years. You didn’t truly know about your “other daughter” while you were here on Earth, but she was watching and learning what love is and prays that one day she will find a love even half as sweet as theirs.
